Yes, it’s true! Gather is growing up. We received our first shipment of the international indie hand-dye sensation, @Madelinetosh and spent the first day sitting with it inside the box. Some of us even tied the giant bag over our head to really absorb the smell. Then we rolled around it like kittens and then we stared at it like frozen lizards. We wanted to hold on to that fresh scent of yarnie goodness forever!!! And when all that was over, our very next thought was: we have to tell everybody!!!! So yarnistas, get your needles and hooks ready for the welcome party this weekend. Buy any yarn of equal or higher value and enjoy 25% on all of our fresh harvest of Tosh DK and Tosh Merino Light. With generous yardage, one or two skeins of these colorful masterpieces is enough for a full project.
And if you’re worried about the commute due to the Made in America concert here is a map to help you out. It looks like our 4th and Spring corner is safe distance from the roadblocks and the best travel strategy is to find yourself on 4th street heading into downtown, turn right onto Spring and park in any of the three lots along the right side of the street. There are two more lots between the 5th and 6th block if these fail you. Really, it’s a lot easier to get here than mid-city on any given day. We are sooooo close to all the highway exists and the city is that helpful variety: a square grid. For all you savvy app users, check out Waze and get the best route every time, updated in real-time by other users on the road. And don’t forget the Metro. Our shop is half a block from the Pershing Square stop with routes connecting to the Red and Purple lines, which in turn connect you to the Orange, Blue and just about every other color via Union Station.
